Busy Weekend

Wow what a weekend. Had so much fun thrifting and yard selling. Got a lot of neat stuff. I crafted a lot too and will post pictures. I made some really cute TP Pumpkins that I found from another blogger on here.

Good Times with Good People

Well yesterday I forgot to journal, but I worked with mom on cleaning out workshop and got some more yard sale items together. Worked in the afternoon in the 2's. This morning I dropped the kiddies off and me, Shanna and mom hit ONE yard sale (Big Deal) they had NOTHING and then hit a bunch of thrift shops. Found some cool things, will post pictures below so you can see, will be revamping them all. Cannot wait!! I am tired so I better get to bed as I will be Yard Selling EARLY!!

Crazy Busy Day

Well this morning I decided to do some more of my projects but did not want to do anything too in depth because I was suppose to work today. Was actually excited when she called and said they only had six kids in the class so there was no need for me to come in. So mom took me to Waffle House and then when I came back I started getting things together for the HUGE yard sale we are having in a couple weeks. It is nice to go thru things and actually not remember you have them and it is like a new thing. I hope to make some money so I can turn around and buy more stuff. But it will be put back for Christmas presents. Oh I forgot to mention that I recovered the seat on an ice cream chair I bought Morgan at a thrift shop yesterday but am bummed that I did not take a before picture (I forgot)!! It turned out super cute and will take an after shot. Off tomorrow so going thru more stuff for yard sale. Good Night!!

Sticky Fingers

Woke up at 4:30 am, could not sleep!!! Got up and did some Mod Podge on the new light up mirror for Morgans Room, this one is going to look great!! Cleaned the downstairs and then did 2 loads of laundry all before 7:00 am. Took the kids to school and then went straight to Snellville to go thrifting. Found some more awesome re-do's today!! This is so much fun!!! Hurried home to get ready to go sub in the 2's. Had a great day with the babies. Came home excited about cooking out steaks on the grill and when I opened it the thing was full of ants from the hot dogs that were left on there from a week ago. Oh I was so mad!!! Did a little more Mod Podge and now I am in bed relaxing and watching the Bachelor Pad. Very tired!!! Good Night!!

Family Day!!!

Today was a great day!!! Jim was off and we all got up and went to church together. The Lort family met us there and all went to lunch afterwords. Really enjoyed the company, great people!! Came home and the kids gave Nanny her Grandparents Day cards and gift. Made mom a bag that said "Nans Pill Bag" in hot pink embroidery letters that I ironed on. She always carries ALL her pills in a Walmart Bag. Also made her a quilted eyeglass holder that said "EYES" in same letters. She ALWAYS loses her glasses so maybe this will help. Ended the day by making and creating Morgans Halloween Costume. Adding the finishing touches. She is going to be Little Miss Muffet. Thanks Shanna you rock girl!!! Will post pictures. Great Day and Very Productive

Woke up early and started some projects but had to pause to go to Basketball sign ups for Davyn. Seen a million Yard Sale signs on the way home so of course being I am feeling the craft bug in a different way now I had to take a peek. Needless to say I made out like a bandit, got some really cool things and worked my butt of all day on them. Here are some before and after pictures of some of the things I worked on today.

Awful Morning but ended up much better

Well we woke up way late. Daughter told me the cat woke her in the middle of the night, he was stuck in her closet all night. When he came out I noticed he had a string hanging from his behind. I freaked out and called vet and of course they say bring him in because he needed an xray to make sure it was not wrapped around any organs. Well I put him in the bathroom and put the litter box in there to see if he would pas it and sure enough and thank god he did. Saved a lot of money and ended up spending the afternoon thrifting and found some really cool stuff. Will be showing before an after pictures of all my projects very soon. Need to go to bed (it is super later) have Basketball Sign Ups for Davyn early tomorrow. Goodnight!!
